We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced
Head of Logistics to join our team and play a key part in supporting Jellycat as we continue to grow.

Reporting to the Global Operations Director, this role will be key in managing and overseeing all aspects of Jellycat's UK and EU operations and supply chain.

This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days in the office with regular UK travel.


Roles and responsibilities will include:


  • Manage and oversee all aspects of UK and EU operations and supply chain including transportation, warehousing, QC, inventory management and distribution.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers including 3PLs, freight forwarders and parcel carriers.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Sales, Production, Demand Planning, IT, Finance and Customer Service.
  • Ensure SLA adherence with 3PL partners, freight forwarders and parcel carriers.
  • Partner closely with Production and Demand Planning Teams to provide robust forecasting and ensure efficient management of inventory.
  • Ensure logistic spend meets budget.
  • Responsible for growth and development of team. Lead and develop direct reports establish objectives, conduct annual performance reviews and provide regular coaching and feedback.

About you (required knowledge and skills):

  • 10+ years experience in a senior logistics management role in D2C and B2B wholesale operations.
  • Experience of working with 3PLs and a demonstrated record of building successful partnerships.
  • Experience of freight forwarding and carrier management including contract negotiations, running tenders and setting & managing SLAs.
  • Strong leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to lead people/team and engage/mentor staff.
  • Excellent collaboration and influence with management and cross functional teams. Proven ability to gain commitment at all levels in organization and drive change.
  • The ability to think independently and manage multiple projects through to completion.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Excellent analytical and planning skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills the ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving results and operational excellence
  • Logically minded, likes to use data and evidence to support findings.
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid experience of WMS and ERP.
  • Continuous improvement attitude.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, logistics, or supply chain management desirable.
