Due to a vacancy, we have an exciting opportunity to be part of our administration team, supporting the East Sussex Primary Mental Health Team.


The team works across East Sussex offering brief, evidence-based support for young people and their families through group work, direct one to one work and wellbeing information sessions.


The aim is to support young people with moderate mental health difficulties to access resources and skills to reduce the need for longer term, more intensive interventions.


We are looking to recruit a full time Administrator for the team, based within our CAMHS base in St Leonards on Sea.

The main duties would be to provide a comprehensive range of administrative and support services to the team and the Team Leader.


he Team Administrator will be responsible to provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to assist the Primary Mental Health Team.


To consistently deliver a client focussed service that promotes good customer service and effective working relationships, maintaining a calm approach under pressure.


To have an awareness of the importance of confidentiality and have the ability to work within appropriate boundaries using good judgement skills when dealing with service users/carers enquiries and problems.

To have good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.


Having daily liaison with a wide range of staff at all levels, working as part of a team maintaining regular communications and prioritising competing needs.


This is an exciting, challenging, very busy and vital Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, offering mental health services to young people up to the age of 18.

To liaise with other departments and services and to respond effectively to enquiries from the Primary Mental Health Team, wider community CAMHS teams, young people and parents/carers.

Young people and families may at times be distressed and there may be occasions whereby conflict resolutions skills are necessary.


To accurately record messages and information and be able to liaise with team clinicians and service users promptly and efficiently.

Follow appropriate procedures, maintain effective channels of communication and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Ability to travel across sites on an occasional basis.
