- Provide effective breakdown service, including fault finding and repair of production service equipment.
- Assist in installations, commissioning, and startup of equipment on site projects.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to maintain production, minimizing downtime through routine maintenance.
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on all equipment.
- Assist with filter changes and maintain the housekeeping of workshop and paint storage areas.
- Make necessary adjustments to the spray line during production runs.
- Complete engineering breakdown reports and safety inspections to comply with health and safety policies.
- Conduct new equipment installations as required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within your skillset as requested.
- A multidisciplined engineer with an electrical bias.
- Technical proficiency in Electrical/Mechanical engineering activities, including familiarity with instrumentation, process controllers, PLCs, Motor Control, and variable speed drives.
- Experience in a 24/7 production environment is desirable, with a manufacturing background being beneficial.
- Educated to BTEC HNC (essential).
- Apprentice trained (essential).
- 17th/18th Edition qualification is desirable.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) license is desirable.
