Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be working with a Medical Membership Organisation to recruit an Examinations Coordinator.
Joining the established and busy Assessment Team, the Examinations Coordinator will provide support in the delivery of the qualification portfolio that the College administers.
The Examinations Coordinator will be responsible for the operational delivery of and results processing for examinations run by the College, including: the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and Independent Prescribing (IP) Final Assessment.

Office hours: 35 hours/week (flexi hours 8 am to 6 pm)
Key responsibilities:
Examinations Coordinator
Operational Delivery:
OSCE examinations and the IP qualification
- Responding to queries related to the OSCE examinations and the IP qualification.
- Scheduling the OSCEs (four times a year) and IP examinations (three times a year)
- Liaising with external providers, where necessary, to agree practical arrangements.
- Processing users onto the digital platform, including facilitating access for the mentors and students.
- Ensuring university results are communicated in a timely manner.
- Keeping accurate and easily accessible records.
- Use the College's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to source data for manipulation.
- Ensure compliance with General Data Protection Regulations
- Checking documents, including examination calendars, examination venues and schedule of fees, and other information regularly to ensure it is up to date, is in line with guidance for other assessment where appropriate and is consistent.
- Ensuring that the Education pages of the college website are kept up to date.
PERSON SPECIFICATION - Examinations Coordinator
- Experience in assessment/qualification organisation and delivery.
- Data management, analysis and reporting, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience of working in the notforprofit and/or education sectors.
- Experience in conducting of clinical or practical examinations or related.
