Job: F&B Assistant at Cowley Manor
Based in: Cowley, Cheltenham
Reports to: Restaurant Manager
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Be present throughout service
ensuring the smooth running of all operations.
● Assist in setting and maintaining
the company standards for the restaurant service and food quality. All while adhering to our principle of aiming to
provide the best experience without a hint of pretension.
● Greet and interact with guests.
● Ensure that the client is seated, provided with
a menu, and thoroughly taken care of from that point forward.
● Present and explain the menu to
guests.
● Create a welcoming environment for
guests, assess their needs and make recommendations. Be familiar with the food
menu to make sure to deliver the best recommendations.
● Take and serve food and drinks
orders.
● Deliver bills and charge guests.
● Set up the table and ensure the good overall presentation
of the restaurant.
● Apply all food and beverage safety
and quality regulations.
● Comply with all reasonable direction and/or
requests from the Management Team.

● Experience in a similar role within
a comparable venue.
● Have an appetite for teamwork.

ABOUT US

Acquired by the Experimental Group in 2022,
Cowley Manor is entering the next chapter of its life. The property is
home to 36 bedrooms complemented by a spa, restaurant, cocktail lounge,
library, mudroom and plentiful living rooms. The property features a postcard
landscape of rolling hills and sheep dotted in the distance spread across
55 acres of idyllic countryside.
The refurbished design by Dorothée
Meilichzon has taken inspiration from each chapter of Cowley Manor's book,
weaving together classical inspiration with contemporary elements across
each of the estate's bedrooms. A sort of joyeux bordel, a happy mess.
The new restaurant and cocktail bar at Cowley
Manor is a place to celebrate a milestone, or simply enjoy a wonderful meal.
Local produce will be at the forefront, highlighting some of Gloucestershire's finest
offerings. The spa features treatments such as relaxing massages, facials
and more. gym, indoor or outdoor pool.
