Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in the New Year? Do you want to support primary aged SEN children in a mainstream setting?
An exciting Teaching Assistant opportunity has become available, working at a school located in central Birmingham.

** £400 - £450 per week

The Teaching Assistant Role:


As a Teaching Assistant, you will primarily be providing 1:1 support for pupils on the SEND register with various additional needs.

This support will take place both in the classroom and in individual learning spaces, designed to allow you to take a more nurturingapproach to the work that are you doing with them.

You will need to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where your pupils can engage. As a Teaching Assistant, you will also support general teaching and learning in the classroom.

The Teaching Assistant:
To be eligible for this Teaching Assistant role, you must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

It is important that you have experience working with SEN and can understand the additional needs of the pupils you are working with, which are primarilyAutism, ADHD, communication and attachment difficulties, and complex learning needs.

You must have a warm personality and be passionate about breaking down barriers to education.

This mainstream primary school located in central Birmingham caters for pupils in KS1 and KS2 with a high intake of children with SEN.

It is rated Ofsted 'Good' and has excellent leadership. There is extensive training on offer to further your professionaldevelopment.
