Job Advert
Position Title: Early Years Practitioner
Directorate: Children, Young People and Partnerships
Location: Hawthorn Family Learning Centre
Contract Status: Fixed Term for 2 years
Hours of Work: 36
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:00 & Friday, 08:00-14:30
(This requires some flexibility at times)
Weeks per year: 52
Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.
Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £28,.95 per annum.
Requirements
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, . Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
