Staff DevOps Engineer - Belfast, United Kingdom - Hayward Hawk
Description
Are you a seasoned DevOps professional with a passion for cutting-edge technologies? My client is seeking a skilled Staff DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps roles to join the dynamic team.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable container-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
Lead the development and deployment of microservices architectures.
Develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of infrastructure.
Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes and resolve technical challenges.
Required Skills and QualificationsMinimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, including containerization, container orchestration, and microservices.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl or PowerShell.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline processes and tools.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
