Page Personnel are partnered with a Not-for-Profit organisation in the Education sector in their search for a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone studying an accounting qualification looking to takethe next step in their finance career.

Description

The primary responsibility of the Finance Business Partner is to provide financial advice, tools and analysis to internal stakeholders to maximise income and make better use of expenditure in order to drive their organisational strategy and make better financialdecisions.

More specifically, the Finance Business Partner will be required to:

Inform with budgeting, forecasting and reporting outputs.
Support internal stakeholders through any financial changes and upgrades
Complete regular reporting of financial performance
Make sure income and expenditure are appropriately recognised
Review the Management Accounts and identifying risks and opportunities are not missed
Influence senior management with financial decisions

Profile

Be studying a professional accounting qualification ACCA/CIMA
Have a good working knowledge of the month end process and budgeting, forecasting and reporting techniques
Have excellent communication skills and be a confident negotiator
Have success in delivering financial improvements
Have experience using accounting software and be proficient with Microsoft Excel
Have a NotforProfit/ Public Sector background (desirable)

Job Offer
A competitive salary £35-42,000 (doe) + 25 days annual leave excluding bank holidays + flexible working with 2 days home working + study support + free, onsite parking + excellent progression opportunities + a permanent opportunity
