About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Access Leader (outpatient) based at our London Bridge Hospital.
As a Patient Access Leader, you will play a vital role in leading the team to deliver a high-quality service to our patients.
Together with the team you will provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to patients, consultants and other third parties that will assist in promoting the successful management of all aspects needed to facilitate a seamless patient pathway.
Duties and responsibilities
- Promote collaborative relationships with other departments and third parties
- Seek to improve the quality of documentation and internal processes
- Monitor work performance to ensure efficiency and standards whilst minimising revenue loss.
- To create, implement and manage appropriate rosters to meet the needs of the department
- Identify training needs and support the learning, development and career progression of all staff
- Support team supervisors to line manage their individual teams
- Manage and support staffing HR requirements, sickness absence monitoring, probationary, maternity, OH referrals and annual leave
Skills and Experience
- Management & supervisory experience within an administration environment
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication
- Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
