The below job description will outline this position of: GRP Composite Finisher

Typically, this person will work amongst a team to provide high-quality finished components for a busy boat manufacturer.

HSB Technical's client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the GRP Composite Finisher:

• Responsible for looking for identifying defects needing rework.

• Repair gel coat surfaces to smooth joint lines from spilt mould tools and remove imperfections.

• Trimming of GRP components using tools such as air saws, routers and diamond cutting discs, where required.

• Polishing of gel coat surfaces to get a high-quality finish.

• Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as directed by the Team Leader for this section.

Qualifications and requirement for the GRP Composite Finisher:

• Previous experience finishing GRP or paint finishes/detailing

• A preferred background in any of the following industries- Marine, Automotive or F1

• A good eye for details

• Able to work in a time effective manner and to a deadline.
