Up to £45,000 dependent on experience + bonus + benefits
Hybrid working pattern:
Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working
- such as 3 days in the office and 2 days at home
An opportunity has arisen within the MBDA UK bids and contract evaluation (BCE) team for a Finance Analyst.
You will collate, interpret and analyse financial data provided by bid teams, which will aid the generation of financial proposals and support thebusiness in making informed decisions about bids and future contracts.
- You will be responsible for delivering financial analysis within a variety of multidisciplinary bid teams
- As well as assessing their cost data, you will be expected to understand their underlying business assumptions and challenge their estimates when appropriate
- These teams will look to you for advice and expertise on the finances of their bids, and you will gain insight into how the different parts of MBDA work together to ensure we can profitably deliver new projects to our customers
- Your work will influence the bid teams' decisions and ensure that MBDA's financial interests are protected
What are we looking for?
- You will have very good numerical and analytical ability, delivering both accurate and objective analysis of financial data
- The ability to form working relationships within all levels of the organisation, and communicate your results and opinions clearly to Finance and nonFinance colleagues
- You will need to manage and prioritise deadlines across multiple tasks
- Some level of accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA etc.) is desirable but not essential
