A fantastic International Trademark & Patent Firm are currently seeking a new Patent & Design Paralegal to join their team, positioned in their London office.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work for a well recognised Firm and work with a huge portfolio of well known clients.

Working within a small team (currently three patent paralegals) reporting to the Head of IP Support. Core responsibility of the Paralegal is to assist and support Fee Earners in managing client portfolios. Taking on a wide variety of tasks which do not needto be performed by a qualified IP attorney.

What you'll need:

Demonstrable track record in a Paralegal or other highly autonomous IP Support Role (essential):

Able to prioritise own workload, work to tight deadlines and work flexible hours (essential):

Educated to degree standard (desirable):

CIPA qualification (desirable):

-
Experience if Inprotech (desirable)

What you'll be doing:

Support for project work (for example managing Opt Out Instructions for the UPC, supporting the piloting of new services, etc)
Management of US Information Disclosure Statement responsibilities
Management of Indian ongoing Section 8 requirements and other foreign formalities

Specific Design Responsibilities

Preparing instructions for foreign design filings (sent to foreign attorneys)
Reporting communications from national offices (and foreign attorneys) including examination reports and grant notifications
