Description

Our client is one of the UKs most established and reputable tier 1 suppliers to the Aerospace industry.

They require an experienced CAD/CAM programmer to join the team at Stansted assisting in the production of 3 and 5 axis programs for 2D and 3D models.

Produce 3 and 5 axis CNC programs with supporting documentation from both 2D drawings and 3D models.
Produce 3D model data from 2D drawings where model data is required but not available from the customer.
Assist with questions from shop floor staff and support/improve upon ongoing live work.

Assisting in the tender and bid process by helping to estimate cutting times and advise best practices to manufacture along with operators.

Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Proven experience of OFFLINE Cad programming (minimum 3 years).
Hypermill and Vericut experience advantageous, training may be offered for candidates with the right skills and experience.
40 Hours per week, Monday
