We're helping an international law business in Central Bristol find a Software Developer for their growing team.

With 11 offices across the UK and 2,500+ employees, this business work across a broad spectrum of sectors including Healthcare, Real Estate, andInsurance to name a few.

The role is based out of their Central Bristol office with 2-3 days week on site. This role is initially a 12-month FTC with a view to going permanent thereafter.

What you'll be doing

Joining a small but established team with high levels of retention, you'll work across the business' core systems building new features, as well as maintaining and improving their product suite.

You'll work on a wide range of projects and integrate a diverserange of systems built on different platforms.

You'll work closely with the QA function when testing code, creating and updating user stories with a DevOps approach and providing estimates on project work to the Development Manager.

You'll provide 3rd line tech support to the wider app support function, create documentation of systems which includes handling sensitive data and adhering to the business' security protocols where necessary.


What experience you'll need:


  • Professional experience in software development.
  • Wellversed in C#,.Net (v3+) and ASP.Net.
  • Competent with SQL Server for database solutions (SQL 2008R2+).
  • Comfortable building web frontends.
  • Proficient in documenting code, technical & highlevel design specs, ideally UML exp.
  • Any CMS knowledge would be highly beneficial (Solcase, VisualFiles, Proclaim etc.).
