    About the role

    We are recruiting for an Education Coordinator to work in the Clinical and Professional Practice (CPP) and Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) Team in UCL's Undergraduate Medicine programme. This programme aims to qualify distinctive 'UCL Doctors' – highly capable, and patient-centred clinicians, equipped to practise medicine in a professional, inclusive, and sustainable way, grounded in science and best practice. This post is secondment cover and available with immediate effect until September . CPP comprises 16 modules which run through each year of the MBBS programme. The team coordinates the overall CPP curriculum to enable integration into core MBBS modules and manages dedicated weekly half day teaching sessions. The team oversees the Curriculum Maintenance cycle and manages the MBBS Curriculum Map, which aligns our MBBS Intended Learning Outcomes with the General Medical Council's Outcomes for Graduates. The post holder will co-ordinate tasks relating to overall CPP timetabling and teaching delivery for specific modules, currently Clinical Communication, Ethics and Law, Mental Health, Patient Safety and Patient Experience, Patient Pathway in Cancer Medicine, Professionalism. The post holder works collaboratively with the Academic and Deputy Academic Leads for CPP, supports the activities of the CPP Module Leads and line-manages a CPP Administrator.Application process:

    About you

    The successful candidate will be an experienced education administrator ideally educated to degree level, or with equivalent professional experience. They are skilled in working with electronic medica including being able to manage complex databases. Their communications and interpersonal skills are excellent and they are able to coordinate their own work in order to meet deadlines. They work as part of a team but are also able to work independently. Providing a high quality service is important to them and they proactively work to improve systems and process.
