Description
Reporting to the Director of Safeguarding and Vulnerabilities the post holder will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Trust to assist UHB NHS Trust to fulfil their contracted responsibilities as stated in the statutory guidance.
They will lead the operationalisation and delivery of statutory guidance for children and young people in care.The post holder will focus on partnership working staff training and education which will impact on patient quality and experience outcomes, user and carer involvement and will be set in the context of the predicated growth and demand for children in care services.
Complete new into care health assessments on behalf of the designated doctor (when the child/ young person refuses to see a doctor) and ensure health needs are identified and appropriate health planning made.
