The Job

The Company

This client specilaises in the Commissioning of Building Services (HVAC and Electrical) together with construction site-based installation/sub contractor teams. They specialise in Documentation and Commissioning within the Construction and Property markets. Their services include Commissioning, Commissioning Planning through to handover, preparation of Operation and Maintenance documentation - Technical Authors. Their service offering carries over to Maintenance and Operational consultancy support within the Property markets.

They were established in the 1990s.

They work for Main Contractors and end users, therefore the majority of their staff have engineering or construction experience and qualifications.

They are involved in projects of all sizes and complexities.

The Role

As a Technical Author, you will creating a working log of the entire construction. This log will include commissioning data, technical submittals and specifications, operational instruction and maintenance requirements.

You will combine your own engineering competence in technical writing, together with their existing in-house expertise.

Our client has the processes and tools (including their own leading industry software) to assist you in the preparation of useful, accurate and high-quality technical user guides for their clients.

Full training will be provided.

Qualifications & Experience

An Engineering qualification - Electrical or Mechanical
