We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Specialist to lead a leading NFP organisation forward into Phase 2 of the national Casework Management System rollout.

This role will require a strategic and operational approach, with afocus on planning and making things happen.

Key responsibilities include:

Meeting with stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and needs.
Strategizing, planning, and managing an endtoend data migration process, including moving the data and converting/transforming content as necessary.
Overseeing and ensuring delivery of all aspects of data analysis, mapping and transfer.
Owning the quality of the migrated data and the validity of the migration processes and operation.
Reviewing the system provider's migration approach, methodology and tools, and recommending changes or alternatives.
Testing the migration approach and methodology before and after the migration process.
Providing documentation on the strategy, the exact migration processes, risks, testing etc.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines for all migrated data.
A degree in IT or computer science (or at least 5 years of experience working in a complex, multipriority organization).
Understanding of Data Quality best practice.
Full life cycle experience of the data migration process, from strategy and planning to testing and implementation.
Proven track record of stakeholder management, supporting projects, and leading/implementing change.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
