Description

Our amazing client is a Nursery and Pre-prep school based close to West Hampstead and they are on the search for a trainee teacher to join them on a permanent basis.

This position will be based in one of the schools' early years classrooms where you will work alongside the Team Leader who will oversee the room.

Within the team each person will have a different area which they lead on within the school curriculum andyou will additionally support in other lessons, snack, and play duties too.

Duties:

Write up and lead weekly lesson plans to aid the children's development
Be involved with planning specific individual programmes for pupils with special needs
Telling/reading stories to the class
Take class on educational visits, ensuring safety at all times
Setting out equipment in an interesting way to encourage the children to play
Creating new classroom displays
Carry out observations and assessments of the children
Help control and maintain the resources

We are looking for an approachable, organised individual who has excellent inter-personal skills and somebody who has the warmth about them to create a strong relationship with the whole of the school community.
