    Your challenge:

    At GHX, our mission is to reduce the cost of doing business in healthcare by enabling better supply chain management. Through our suite of supply chain software solutions, we make it easier for hospitals, healthcare providers and suppliers to drive cost and inefficiency out of their processes. We have plans to grow our business further and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Development team and be based out of our offices in Cambridge.

    Your role:

    Your role will be to develop IT solutions that support GHX services and products to its customers, by developing and supporting IT web based software systems and solutions. This role interfaces internally with teams across Product Development and Product Management and includes the coordination of offshore developers.This role has a direct impact on GHX Customer Experience, by enabling smooth and seamless systems and applications.

Continuous learning will be part of the experience with us so we don't expect you to arrive knowing everything, but the following competencies will enable you to be successful in this role:

    Minimum 5 years of software development experience in:

    • building commercial Java applications
    • working with and integrating RESTful services in a micro services architecture.
    • building application artifacts and performing continuous deployment of application artifacts.
    • working with AWS Services such as S3, EC2, Lambda and RDS
    • Relational and/or NoSQL database development
    • working in an Agile Environment
    • coordinating the work of offshore team
    • building and integrating a Test Automation suit
    • Experience in working in an international environment
    • Ability to communicate technical concepts and designs to cross functional teams with varying degrees of technical experience
