    Salary:
    £32,000 - £41,000 (depending on experience)At Studio XAG, we partner with brands to craft unforgettable experiences that captivate audiences and spark meaningful connections.     As a Technical Designer at Studio XAG, you'll play a pivotal role in our production department, collaborating closely with a talented team to bring our creative concepts to fruition.


    Responsibilities include:
    Supporting our Senior Technical Designer and Production StudioProviding technical and construction advice, and problem-solvingBridging the gap between creative design and fabricationAssisting with Site Surveys & producing supporting documentationSpecifying materials, fixings, and manufacturing techniquesProducing technical drawings and CAD/CAM files & documents ready for buildSupporting our fabrication team during build projectsEnsuring technical and creative integrity while managing project budgetsOverseeing quality control and liaising with suppliers and production managersKeeping updated of new software, materials, suppliers, and processesAdhering to health and safety standards and risk assessment managementRequirementsThe ideal candidate will:Have a minimum of 5 years experience in technical design, preferably in retail display, shop-fitting, exhibition/events, or staging industriesPossess expert knowledge of CAD software (preferably Rhino & Solidworks) and SketchupDemonstrate proficiency in creating and reading construction drawings and 3D modelsExhibit a strong understanding of CNC processes and their implementation in drawingsShow an active interest in various design practices and materialsHave excellent knowledge of fabrication techniques and assembly processesBenefitsLocation:This position is based full-time at our East London studio, with flexible working hours and partial remote work options available
