    Job summary

    We are currently looking for a Payroll Support Officer to work within the payroll team in the administration and support of the Payroll and Pensions service to all Trust employees.

    Main duties of the job

    You will be required to provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Trusts Payroll and Pension service.

    You will also oversee all aspects of creating and maintaining employee's personal files which are stored off-site, liaising with the external company when required, recalling files when requested and monitoring the collection/return.

    To organise, prepare and store all documentation in readiness for sending to the off-site storage facility

    You will be required to aid the Payroll and Pensions team, with some ad-hoc project work as and when required

    It is essential that you have good computer skills and sound knowledge of Excel, experience of using Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Oracle system would be an advantage though not essential as training will be provided. You will need to possess a strong customer service ethic and the ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.

    The Payroll office is based at Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot though this will be a hybrid role and there will be the opportunity to work from home some of the time. We currently have a full-time vacancy but will consider part-time hours, we also have a flexible working policy with regard start/finish times.
