The Role:
What you will do?

We are looking for a Rehabilitation Therapist to join our MSK team. This role is based in Southampton, where you will be treating and supporting our customers' workforce, as part of their wider Occupational Health service. You will be working at our customer's premises, assessing and treating their employees, who will seek your help to treat a variety of MSK conditions in a work based environment.

  • You will be responsible for managing your own diary, promoting the service, building relationships with customer, and meeting operational targets.

Skills and Experience:


Essential:


  • Member of British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT)
  • Degree in Sports Rehabilitation BSc or MSc Physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrable skills and knowledge in Subjective & Objective Assessment of MSK conditions; Goal Setting; Rehabilitation & Exercise Prescription.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT literate intermediate level minimum using electronic patient management systems.
  • High level of enthusiasm and motivation.
  • Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion.

Desirable:


  • Previous experience of working within an Occupational Health setting.
  • An understanding of the key principles of Occupational Health Physiotherapy.
  • Previous experience of report writing.
  • Familiarity and confidence assessing & coaching patients via video.
  • Further qualifications, training or CPD within the Occupational Health field.
