Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for an experienced Head of Acquisition Marketing and CRM to work with a leading University.

The role is hybrid with at least 1 day per week in the office in Surrey.


In this Senior role, you will lead the planning, development and implementation of data-driven, targeted and creative student recruitment and conversion campaigns.

Those digital and media campaigns will have a measurable, positive impact on student numbers, brand awareness and other targets.


You will work with agency partners and colleagues to maximise the impact of owned, earned and paid channels to achieve optimum campaign development and delivery, championing a digital first approach.


Role Responsibilities as Head of Acquisition Marketing and CRM

  • In collaboration with the Head of Digital and external media agencies, lead all digital campaign setup to ensure an effective customer journey across core digital performance channels.
  • Ensure CRM systems and processes operate to maximum effectiveness in acting as a sales funnel.
  • Work with media planning, buying and creative agencies as appropriate to maximise the contribution of owned and paidfor channels.
  • Through the work of the team, ensure timely and effective daytoday management of campaign delivery via media agencies.
  • Drive a relentless focus on evaluation of all planned activity, ROI and cost per acquisition measures.
  • Drive an integrated approach to the planning and delivery of content and marketing activity / campaigns.

Experience Required for

Head of Acquisition Marketing and CRM

  • You'll be an experienced marketing or communications professional, with a track record of planning and delivering successful communications strategies.
  • Able to demonstrate ROI, with a focus on customer acquisition and/or retention.
  • Proven experience of delivering successful campaigns via paid media.
  • Experience managing data and customer databases
  • Experience working collaboratively and with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience leading a high performing team and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
