    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic Infection Prevention & control team at the The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust working across the acute and community Infection Prevention & control Service is seeking to appoint an Infection Prevention & Control Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who wishes to expand their knowledge, experience and learn new skills within a dynamic team.

    Main duties of the job

    To work within the Infection Prevention and Control Team providing specialist nursing input in the identification, prevention, monitoring/surveillance and control of infection within the Trust. To monitor staff compliance with infection prevention and control policies initiating appropriate actions to enable all grades and disciplines of staff to prevent and control infection. Act as a resource to all staff, clinical and non-clinical on issues relating to infection prevention and are looking for someone who will enjoy a challenge, remains calm under pressure, and with the motivation and enthusiasm to make a difference to our patients through effective IPC practice.
