    Description

    Step into the exciting role of Contracts and Commercial Manager, where you'll lead to ensure contracts are managed to exceed specified safety, quality, financial, innovation, risk, compliance and performance objectives. With your strategic guidance, the team will navigate towards excellence and success of all operations.

    This pivotal role expands further than contract management. You will instil a culture of commercial awareness, overseeing budgets, implementing robust controls, and maximising financial opportunities, whilst mitigating risk. Your approach will be instrumental in achieving EBITDA targets and coordinating the deployment of operations plans for optimal performance.

  • Maintaining clear governance of supplier performance across cost, asset performance, compliance risk and environmental targets.
  • Ensuring the contract scope is understood by the delivery teams and is supported and tested in terms of cost, asset performance, and environmental targets.
  • Work with the business to create a culture that delivers cost savings to the current cost base whilst maintaining or improving asset performance through the innovation of contracts.
  • Work closely with the Finance and Procurement Team to ensure fit-for-purpose contracts are in place providing value for money.
  • Develop and champion an environment that is customer-centric, collaborative and challenging at its core.
  • Track record of robust Contract Management, leading on Performance meeting to ensure the supplier meets the agreed KPIs and SLAs, demonstrating value add on jobs, whilst completing works in a timely manner as per the scope and bringing innovation ideas to the table.
  • Clear ability to work with the Operations Manager and Suppliers to get the best of out the Contract to support the high demand of the operation.
  • Background in driving commercial best practice and knowledge, basis auditing and challenging status quo to reduce cost, and improve efficiency.
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft excel and use of Maximo.
