An opportunity for a band 5 occupational therapist has arisen within the National Spinal Injuries Centre Occupational Therapy team.

We are a friendly and dynamic team of Occupational Therapists providing a high-quality service to Spinal Cord Injury patients undergoingrehabilitation at the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, Bucks.

Patients have the opportunity for group and individual treatment sessions from qualified therapists, support workers and volunteers addressing abroad range of skills including ADL training, kitchen skills, gardening, employment, community living skills, and the spinal cord injury educationprogramme.

The therapy team are key players in the multi-disciplinary team provision of rehabilitation thorough goal planning.

Continuing professional development is actively encouraged through supervision and annual appraisal along with a comprehensive induction,varied in-service training programme and opportunities to learn alongside colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team.
