About The Role
As a warehouse porter you will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for carrying out essential roles that will keep the supply of healthcare products to those who need it across the UK going.
- Unloading and re-loading of vehicles correctly and safely
- Safe transfer of loads to the despatch bay
- Correct sorting and distribution of orders
- Maintain standards in according with Health and Safety Guidances
- Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping in both the dispatch area and yard area.
Rates of Pay - We offer starting pay of 10.42 per hour. Additional overtime is available.
About You:
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be beneficial but full training would be provided.
- Basic Numeracy and Literacy skills
- High Accuracy
- Up to Date Fork Lift Truck licence would also be highly desirable
- Due to the nature of the position, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as bending and lifting in line with Health and Safety Regulations
