Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
For Metrocentre, the Associate Surveyor will serve as the principal face of the surveying aspects of the running of the property.
This includes a very 'hands on' approach to management, including responsibility of inspections, sensitive data management, client reporting, lease management, service charge budget management, arrears collection, cashflow management as the fundamentals of property management.
The role also include the management of the complex service charge budgets in line with the RICS, overseeing of the Commercialisation strategy on site at Metrocentre, sustainability projects, working with Savills dedicated team 'Savills Earth' - supporting the client and Directors as and when required.
An excellent relationship with the site team will be key, working together to ensure the efficient, effective running of the scheme to bring in footfall and sales in a clean and safe environment.
Key Skills
- Experience in the Property Management sector is essential with proven experience
- Have a high attention to detail
- A practical pragmatic common sense approach to management
- Must have experience of lease maintenance and an understanding of property
- Must understand the principles and practice of client care
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and use a good level of
- Strong team player: builds relationships and consults with others, quickly establishes
- Be articulate, professional and persuasive with a good telephone manner and
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Show the ability to cross sell other services within the Company
- Ability to work with relatively high degree of autonomy with mínimal supervision
Team Overview
The London Retail & Leisure Management Team is based in Margaret Street
and consists of over 50 members of staff with a wealth of experience,
managing over 170 properties (Shopping Centres, Retail Parks and Leisure
schemes)
