    Ambivet Veterinary Group are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at our Heanor practice on a permanent full-time contract.

    We are a group of 6 practices in Heanor, Aspley, Wollaton, Ilkeston, Ripley, and our brand-new purpose-built practice in Derby. Across the group, our team consists of 20, soon to be 22 vets, which includes Certificate holders, 33 RVNs, plus a team of SVNs, PCAs and Receptionists. Together we are committed to providing outstanding veterinary care to thousands of pets and clients across Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire.

    Our main site in Heanor is very well equipped with ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography suites, orthopedic and dental facilities, allowing our clinicians to carry out comprehensive clinical assessments and treatments on site. Heanor also features our own dedicated night team to handle all our OOH emergency cases and inpatient care.

    You will enjoy a varied caseload including nurse consultations and the chance to perform Schedule 3 procedures. Flexibility to work across our branch practices is required in this role.

    This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, which includes a fair share of weekends and on-call on a rota basis. Salary banding is £25k - £29k, dependent on experience, along with a generous benefits package which includes paid professional fees, CPD, option to purchase additional annual leave, pension scheme, discount on pet products and treatment, recommend a friend, and much more...
