    Description

    We are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our team in Glasgow, as we deliver web builds, technical support and expertise to our clients across the UK.

    The primary requirement of this role is the delivery of both back-end and front-end development techniques

    This role requires someone who can assist in the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of projects, working with the wider client team to ensure ongoing communication and efficient issue resolution.

    You will be experienced in .NET and ideally have a strong working knowledge of Umbraco, and a keen interest to learn more about this platform. Other CMS platforms currently used include WordPress and Shopify where appropriate.

    Communication is key for us. We are a tight-knit team, and each member is expected to communicate as an expert in their field. Your documentation should be easy to consume and be of help to both client and your colleagues.

    We are looking for someone with 3+ years' experience, with a collaborative, friendly and positive way of working. We have several projects in the pipeline for clients in sports, medical and hospitality and are looking for someone who is keenly following new technology and will assist in the adoption of new techniques.

    Key Requirements

    • Experienced in both frontend and backend web development.
    • Microsoft .NET Framework
    • Project experience with Umbraco 7+
    • Hands on experience with Shopify or WordPress would be beneficial
    • Experience with Microsoft technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core / MVC
    • JavaScript application frameworks
    • Excellent project documentation standards
    • The ability to self-test and problem solve.
    • Strong communication skills – the ability to share complex information with both a technical and non-technical audience
    • Estimation of projects with client managers
    • Technical scoping, and assistance with sprint planning and project milestones
    • Strong relationship with in-house and freelance web designers
    • An understanding and governance of client deadlines and timescales with the ability to speak up throughout each project to ensure we deliver against agreed project plans
