The Role
This role is a General Operative position within our Steels department at our Head Office Branch in Colney Heath. You'll need to be someone who isn't afraid of hard work and is a team player.

The Steel Department is one of the busiest areas of the Company so you would need to be willing to work under pressure.

Key Accountabilities

Carry out painting of steel beams
Operating tools and machinery
Training will be provided for this
Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas
Wearing safety clothing and using protective equipment
Be vigilant and report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately

Operated overhead cranes
Operated forklift trucks
Experience working with Steel

Other duties may include:

General day to day tasks such as housekeeping; maintaining a clean and safe work area.
