    SRG are partnered with a global medical products and technologies company. Our client is focused on solutions for the management of chronic conditions, with leading positions in advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence care, and infusion care.

    Position Overview

    The role is to be part of a small team of microbiologists ensuring compliance of controlled environments, controls of manufactured products through bioburden and VDmax. Ensure. Supporting site development projects by ensuring control standards are maintained.

    Experience within a Micro role is desired however graduates are welcome to apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Ensure facilities, processes, personnel and materials/products are microbiologically tested in line with cGMP and procedural requirements

    · Provide microbiological support for Operations

    · Manage out of specification results, facilitate laboratory investigations and involve the site Quality Director where applicable.

    · Collect and trend data, react to trends and report to laboratory manager

    · Maintain laboratory metrics

    · Ensure compliance is maintained as directed by Notified Bodies regulations

    · Compliance with GMP requirements and uphold these standards

    · Compliance with EHS requirements and uphold these standards

    · Perform Environmental monitoring and routine product monitoring; bioburden, VDmax25

    · Seek and deliver CI opportunities across the site

    · Adhere to legal, corporate and site legislation

    · Maintain validation of Microbiology test methods,

    · Ensure maintenance of the operational equipment within the lab.

    · Maintain operational equipment within a validated state

    Qualifications/Education

    • Educated to degree level, or equivalent, within a Microbiological discipline or similar
    • Experience within a microbiology laboratory
    • Knowledge of ISO11737, 11137,11135, 17665, Pharmacopeia's references
    • Understanding of GMP/ISO regulations and Quality Systems in a regulated environment.
    • Environmental monitoring testing experience is desirable
