Software Tester

ShortList are looking for a Software Tester to join a market-leading client based in Deeside to join their growing development team on a permanent basis.

Using a range of testing methods including exploratory, unit, functional and integration testing, the successful Software Tester will work closely with the project team, including stakeholders, developers, business analysts and project managers, helping you to understand what the testing solution is meant to do, its key features and its users.

Key skills required for the Software Tester:

Integration testing experience
Experience of NFT, Load Testing and Break Testing
Experience using MS Office, Dev Ops, Azure, Postman and WebServices.
Strong analytical skills
Highly motivated selfstarter with the ability to manage workloads and work to deadlines
Logical thinker and problemsolving abilities
Ability to work successfully within a team
Willingness to support others including internal and external teams

Nice to have:

ISTQB certified Tester
Knowledge of agile methodologies
Proficiency in crossbrowser, mobile and device testing
Experience using Automation tools

The Software Tester role is paying up to £35,000 and comes with additional benefits including 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, free parking and extra discounts.

This is a hybrid role (2 days per week on-site) and the office is commutable from Chester, the Wirral, North Wales, Runcorn and Wrexham.
