Key Responsibilities The Experiment Immunology department is actively searching for a Scientist, on a fixed term maternity cover contract, to join one of the target discovery teams at Immunocore.
With support from colleagues, you will help generate and implement a suite of in vitro immune cell assays and cancer cell models to aid validation of drug targets and ImmTAC characterisation.
You will play a vital role in conducting in vitro pharmacology studies designed to elucidate parameters important for ImmTAC therapeutic efficacy.
The candidate will be an enthusiastic, active learner, keen to take on new challenges and learn new techniques, skills, and areas of biology.
The post holder should possess theoretical, practical, and conceptual knowledge in immunology and/or cancer biology, and have demonstrable experience of implementing immunological assays to dissect oncology problems.
The candidate will be technically proficient, scientifically creative, capable of independent thought and have a collaborative work ethic.
