    Job Description

    Lab8 are working with a free-to-play mobile games studio in search of a Data Scientist to become part of their small but highly skilled team.

    This role is suitable for new graduates or those with 1-2 years experience and would highly suit a a data driven, games enthusiast with a genuine interest in football.

    You'll play a key role in the studios ongoing success, working in close collaboration with various areas of the business to provide deep insights and help monitor key metrics.

    You will aid decision making by drilling into aspects of game performance and perform deep dives into player behaviour in order to improve game experience and help the studio achieve their goals.

    We are looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics (or other relevant field)
    • Proficient in SQL and Python, or similar languages
    • Skilled in data modeling with a strong grasp of statistical and visualisation techniques
    • Exceptional at problem-solving
    • Ability to use critical and creative thinking
    • Enthusiastic gamer (especially interested in free-to-play mobile games)
    • Great communicator (both technical and non-technical)
    • Genuine passion for football, leveraging football knowledge to enrich game analysis
