    Position: Product Assurance Manager (Hybrid)

    Salary: Circa £50,000 - £65,000 Depending on Experience

    Location: Stevenage

    The Role:

    This is an incredibly exciting chance to really make a difference as a key part of our clients international expansion

    • Handling the small UK national Product Assurance team to ensure the required level of Quality Assurance support to clients programmes and their Customers.
    • Ensure objectives are defined and communicated to your team (), and reporting lines are understood and agreed
    • Handle assigned budgets and where applicable ensure the accountabilities are clear.
    • Define both the Product Assurance and Company Business procedures to be deployed within the project and ensure they are tailored accordingly to meet the project's needs. Present relevant Quality issues to your programme's internal customers
    • You will find pragmatic solutions for customers, whilst maintaining robust quality integrity
    • Working for Head of Product Assurance Programme, to ensure that the team has the skills and capabilities needed to provide Quality Assurance to the Programmes Directorate
    • Consolidate and mitigate functional and project risks and issues and provide feedback to internal Customers
    • Being actively involved in ISO9000 and AS9100 assessments and in internal quality audit activities

    The client is looking for:

    • You are an experienced Quality Assurance / Engineering professional with a good understanding of overall systems and development and Production practices
    • You have experience of handling a skilled and coordinated team
    • Candidates do not need to have a Defence background. We welcome applicants from the Automotive, Aviation, Manufacturing sectors
    • You have a collaborative but objective approach
    • You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
    • You remain calm under pressure and cope well with unexpected changes
    • Practitioner of current QA problem solving methods (8D, Six Sigma, DMAIC, etc.)
    • Continuous improvement awareness and ability to use own initiative to deliver improvements
    • Ability to provide leadership and give experienced advice to others
