Our client is an award-winning, full service, commercial law firm and they are rapidly developing a national reputation for its innovative approach to delivering legal services.
The Job:
On behalf of our client we are seeking an Administrator to join them in their Risk and Compliance team.
Main Responsibilities
- General administration tasks including opening and closing files, filing and scanning documents, copying, archiving, keeping centralised spreadsheets and lists updated regularly.
- Paying invoices in accordance with our payment policy.
- Taking minutes at meetings and taking responsibility for checking that action points have been completed.
- Letter and report writing.
- Coordination of internal and external meetings, to include booking meeting rooms, sending invites and drafting agendas.
- Conduct checks on new employees, including conflict checks, sanction checks, passport checks and SRA checks.
- Maintaining a list of relevant deadlines and sending reminders to the team when these deadlines are approaching.
- Assisting with the coordination of our biannual ISO 9001:2015 quality management audit
- Answering the team phones during busy periods and taking messages.
The Person:
For this role our client is looking for someone who has:
- Previous office experience is essential
- Able to work both as an individual and as part of a team.
- Ability to adopt a flexible working style and capable of prioritising tasks.
- Ability to take the initiative and be proactive
- High level of accuracy, sound organisational skills and good attention to detail.
- IT literate including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels both in writing and by phone.

£25,000
