THE OPPORTUNITY


Cambridge Associates need a strong generalist, who can support administration and work with one other HCBP as a business partner to EMEA due to.

The individual will need to undertake administration of reporting, supporting day to day business needs and project work.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understanding of monthly payroll for London and Munich, ensuring the HC Coordinator has captured the necessary elements before handing over to US payroll.
  • Monitoring onboarding and offboarding of starters and leavers, ensuring offers, contracts and background screening is both legally compliant and meets regulatory and CA standards.


  • Reporting

  • Creation of Board reports, sickness absence, HC metrics and ad hoc reporting
  • Benefits for London and Munich, understanding of pension schemes in both countries and relevant benefits. Partnering with the HC Director, to review and enhance benefit offerings.
  • Secretary to the Benefits and Pensions Governance Committee and Remuneration Committee circulate agenda, attending meetings to take minutes.
  • SMCR knowledge and the ability to run the annual process for CA globally
  • Employee Relations inductions, maternity/paternity, exit interviews, sickness absence, flexible working, disciplinary, grievances and performance management working with Line Managers or employees to support and coach them through the processes and ensure consistency and compliance with policies.
  • Involvement with Employee Resource Groups offering HC support when needed
  • Project work e.g. initiation of new offerings
  • Policies and processes advice and creation of policies, establishing and evolving processes and procedures and annual reviewing
  • Ad hoc tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar HC role is essential, preferably within financial services or professional services which must include payroll and benefits
  • Experience of working in a small team demonstrating ability to act in a true generalist role preferred.
  • Experience of undertaking ER cases and of supporting managers through HC processes is preferred
  • Experience of working closely and effectively with "offshore" colleagues to develop good working relationships and ensure consistency of process.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines whilst maintaining a high attention to details at times is essential
  • Resilient, mature and keen to deliver a high level service to business areas
  • Proactive and engaging approach to building stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • Able to demonstrate effectively identifying the need to make changes (eg in policy or process) gaining agreement to changes and seeing them through to a successful conclusion
