We require a Digital Analyst to cover an existing workload within the MET Police, based out of New Scotland Yard (Hybrid working).

An interim position for 6 months with the potential to be extended.

Role Purpose:

The Digital Analyst will assist the Insight Lead with SOH's smooth transition from GA360 to GA4 and the connection of Google Analytics with Splunk.
They will also manage SOH's Google Tag Manager accounts, work with Forces to answer their analytics queries, set up new tags/triggers in GTM, create automated reports and build dashboards.
Over the course of their contract period, the Digital Analyst will migrate or rebuild current dashboards to GA4 compatibility.
Work with Insights Manager to ensure Google Analytics 4 data is compatible with Splunk reporting tool.
Manage Google Tag Manager.
Answer digital analytics requests from the wider force.

Skills required to be successful in the role:

Able to turn research data into clear findings that inform decisions. Involve colleagues in your findings and increase consensus and challenge assumptions.
Strong research, analysis and reporting skills, including experience of designing, interpreting and drawing out key conclusions from research and usability studies
Excellent relationship management and teamworking skills.
Able to provide detailed recommendations based on outcomes and insights from research or data
Create clear, insightbased user stories to describe performance: what works, what doesn't and what needs to change.
Extensive experience of working with Google Analytics.
Extensive experience of working with Google Tag Manager.
Ability to build DataStudio reports that connect to GA
Experience of creating, writing and publishing reports and presenting these to senior management and expert users.
Experience of making recommendations to digital product managers and owners on future development needs.
Experience of contributing to Digital Strategy by providing insight.
Knowledge of Google Analytics 4.

This role offers a competitive salary of
£311.31 per day PAYE / £400 per day Umbrellaand you'll be working via
