Salary:
Up to £65,000 with overall package up to £84,600 (Car allowance, bonus, pension, private healthcare)


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week


Location:
Flexible location with hybrid working (London or Cannock would be preferred)

What will you be doing?
Are you a talented Data Architect looking to join a large data and analytics function within a leading Environmental company?


We are recruiting for a Data Architect who will take ownership of master data management, data modelling and play a key role in establishing our data governance practices.


  • The Data Architect will manage and lead a technical team of Data Engineers.
  • Assess every system, dataset and data pipeline in order to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure MDM policies, standards and supporting service artefacts are defined, agreed and maintained.
  • Manage the transition of Master Data requirements into live operations.
  • Design and maintain all documentation and metadata for each required managed datasets.
  • Implement data governance processes alongside relevant data, systems and business departments.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL, Python & Databricks.
  • Experience in architecting, designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure Stack.
  • Experience in master data management using relevant software such as Profisee / Semarchy.
  • Proven experience of data governance, data lifecycle and data mapping.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across various levels and departments.
  • Experience using tools such as dbt would be an advantage.
