    Description

    Location: Scottish Highlands and Islands
    Pay: £30k - £40k (depending on experience). Use of a company pool vehicle.
    Contract: Permanent and full-time (part-time working will also be considered)
    Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

    IS THIS YOU?
    You will be responsible for overseeing compliance and monitoring of environmental management plans, conducting site inspections, advising on compliance with environmental regulations, and recommending measures to mitigate any adverse effects on biodiversity and habitats. You will act as a liaison between construction teams and environmental stakeholders, advocating for the protection and preservation of natural resources throughout the project lifecycle.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO
    Every day is exciting and different. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for overseeing construction and development projects to ensure they are conducted in an environmentally and responsible manner whilst fulfilling associated planning conditions relating to the environment and will act as a liaison between construction teams and environmental stakeholders, advocating for the protection and preservation of natural resources throughout the project lifecycle. You'll be happy using your own initiative and enjoy working alongside their awesome team.

    You will be responsible for:

  • Site inspections and monitoring.
  • Environmental and legal compliance.
  • Implementation of environmental management plans.
  • Stakeholder communication and collaboration.
  • Data collection and reporting.
  • Assessing ecological risk.
  • Training and education to project personnel on environmental best practices, regulations and mitigation methods.
  • Implement emergency response plans for environment incidents or accidents.JOIN THE TEAM
