    This is a rare opportunity to join the business services division of a global talent agency that manages top-tier clients within Entertainment, Sport, Music and much, much more.

    This market-leading Management organisation is currently undergoing a period of growth and as a result, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Business Management team, providing accounting and royalty services to their clients.. This role will see you working with a number of well-known individuals and high profile talent, helping to produce their accounts and manage their finance, whilst also providing financial advice.

    To be a suitable candidate ideally, you will have previous experience gained within an accountancy practice, artist management or similar environment. As you will regularly need to liaise with your clients, it is essential that you are a confident communicator who is great at building strong, trusted, working relationships

    Responsibilities of the role include:

    • Assist with the management of a large portfolio of clients, including direct client contact and resolving client queries
    • Review financial statements, prepared by the team, providing review points to ensure account completion and legislative compliance
    • Delegate and review the work of the junior team members, alongside providing training and support
    • Prepare monthly management accounts
    • Advise clients on their accounting needs
    • Prepare corporate and personal tax computations
    • Manage client billing and review work in progress
    • Review client VAT returns

    Candidate requirements:

    • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
    • Experience of accounts preparation and VAT returns
    • Confident communication skills
    • Great team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
    • Deadline orientated, attention to detail and able to work in a dynamic environment
    • Self motivated, takes ownership and great work ethic
    • Experience of working with a large portfolio of clients
