    Mechanical Engineer - CONTRACT

    Location: Cambridge, UK

    Compensation: circa. £60,000p.a.

    Join a cutting-edge team revolutionizing cloud storage technology. We need experienced Mechanical Engineers to design, build, and test mechanical systems for innovative cloud storage solutions.

    Requirements:

    Expertise in Solidworks, including PDM

    Experience with high-precision motion systems

    Hands-on skills in light machining and 3D printing

    Desirable Skills:

    Familiarity with optical systems

    Knowledge of Design for Manufacture principles

    Software/coding familiarity (e.g., Python)

    Experience with simulation tools (preferably Ansys)

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent

    Strong understanding of tolerancing and specifications for production
