    Java Developer

    Location:
    London based – Hybrid - flexible working

    Salary:
    £50,000 - £60,000

    Package: 10% bonus + 11% pension

    Overview

    One of the UK's leading digital solution provider's is searching for a Java Developer to join their practice in London and work on developing cutting-edge greenfield solutions for their clients using new emerging technologies and trends.


    This is a dynamic role which will allow you to gain exposure to a wide range of projects, and clients in different industry sectors.

    These could be for start-ups wanting to scale at pace or some of the world's biggest household names across the public and private sector.


    For the Java Developer, this is an excellent opportunity to get experience working in a diverse role for one of the leading technology-orientated organisations with an abundance of interesting projects, learning resources, free cloud certifications and more.


    As a Java Engineer you will:

    • Be responsible for owning and delivering on specific tasks, being the design authority and accountable for creating solutions
    • Be a trusted member of the team, and you'll be empowered to move things forward on your own steam
    • Have the support of experienced professionals within the team, who can give you guidance and help you make decisions
    • You may also be expected coach more junior Engineers in the team, working with them to build their expertise
    • It's important you feel comfortable having team discussions with the client on the project and contributing your thoughts and ideas into the team

    What we're looking for:

    • 2+ years' experience in Java
    • Knowledge of at least one related framework such as Spring or Hibernate
    • Experience working in agile development teams where you're applying development practices
    • Experience with one of the public cloud platforms would be a plus (AWS, GCP or Azure)
