The Role - Security Officer SIA
AM Services Group are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our security team at our client's prestigious retail site in Stretford - Manchester

This is a Permanent Role 31.5 hours per week, the suitable person would be available to work two set days Tuesday and Thursday 8am to 6.30pm plus 1 x other day of 10.

5hr shift which may include evenings or weekends with the option of gaining Overtime to cover holidays and sickness

Duties/Key Responsibilities

To provide professional security services to our client, maintaining the security and safety of their premises and people by ways of monitoring, patrolling and surveying the building and their assets.

You must be flexible and able to work in a multiservice team
Complete daily security tasks, including the use of client software and security CCTV systems in the control room
To carry out Daily / Weekly health & safety checks
Carry out routine patrols on site
Locking and unlocking of the shopping centre
Assist in deterring crime within the centre
Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
Liaison with local authorities including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency
To carry out weekly Fire alarm testing
Operating telephone switchboard
Carry out any reasonable task requested by the client or Manager, if you are trained to do so.
Use of a scrubber drier machine as an when required to support the cleaning team
Work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that AM Support Services offers exceptional customer service at the highest standards

Skills Required:

Valid SIA Front Line SG/DS Licence
CCTV experience advantage
First Aid cert
You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
Be able to access, control and manage a large crowd of people efficiently and quickly.
Full 5year UK checkable work history
Experience in a similar retail security role is required
