Join our team as a Lunchtime Supervisor at a wonderful partner schools across South Gloucestershire. You will be required for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. Make a positive impact on children's lunchtime experienceAbout the role:
As a lunchtime supervisor, your primary responsibility is to supervise and actively engage with students during their lunchtime activities.
You will strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all children, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout this crucial break period.
Promoting positive behaviour is of utmost importance, and consistently encourage students to treat one another with kindness, respect, and inclusivity is paramount.
Furthermore, you will take it upon yourself to encourage healthy eating habits among the students.
Through gentle guidance and role modelling, you will inspire them to make nutritious food choices that contribute to their overall well-being and academic success.
In this role, you will find immense fulfilment in facilitating a vibrant lunchtime experience that not only allows students to refuel but also provides them with opportunities to socialize, learn valuable life skills, and develop a sense of belonging within the school community.

Requirements:
To be considered for the role of Lunchtime Supervisor you will:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with children.
- Enthusiasm and a genuine passion for supporting student wellbeing.
- Reliable and punctual with a caring and patient nature.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Must hold or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Key responsibilities:
As Lunchtime Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Supervise students during lunchtime activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage with students in positive and inclusive ways, fostering a supportive school community.
- Promote and enforce appropriate behaviour, encouraging respectful interactions among students.
- Monitor the lunch area to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Assist students in making healthy food choices, promoting good nutrition habits.
- Address and resolve any conflicts or disciplinary issues that may arise during lunchtime.
