Business or Engineering would be ideal,but not necessary.

What is the role?
Through a thorough
training plan over the next 21 months, which allows enhanced exposure to all areas of the business,
you will during this time experience the following:


  • Assist the Operations Manager in all aspects of delivering the
    day-to-day processing operations.
  • Get i
    nvolved in compliance audits as and when they
    arise to see how they manage the external stakeholders they deal with.

Shadow the compliance team as they
travel to various sites to ensure compliance across the business and
gain a thorough understanding of the importance of Health and Safety interception and guidance within the business.

Work with the engineering departmentto
learn their processes and how production can be more efficient, plus
planning any upcoming projects and aid them in any way possible with current projects.

Assist the Operations manager in
ensuring that production budgets are met and
continuously look at opportunities to improve the whole operations of the business.

  • Understand the
    Duty of Care requirements, including but not limited to; Waste Carriers licence,
    Waste Transfer note and all other compliant related paperwork.
  • Have a sound understanding of all of the
    different types of raw material
    URM receive, where it comes from, the costs involved, the numerous processing methods and resulting cullet and biproducts.

Assist the site manager in managing staffing and helping with recruitment to ensure full manning of the site.
