Description
issuing and maintaining financial reporting standards in the UK (and Republic of Ireland), including liaison with sector-specific SORP-making bodies and maintaining guidance on non-financial reporting in the UK (including the Guidance on the Strategic Report);
- issuing and maintaining other relevant corporate reporting requirements or guidance in the UK and monitoring and influencing international corporate reporting developments relevant to the FRC's remit either directly or working with other international standardsetters and similar bodies;
- research aimed at influencing future developments in corporate reporting and undertaking due process reviews of the UK Endorsement Board.


Key requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA/CA or other accounting qualification and relevant degree
  • Ability to effectively manage a series of simultaneous projects and maintain key external relationships.
  • Experience in technical accounting and an understanding of the accounting and reporting regulatory framework in the UK and Ireland.
